Suns Lifestyle Ltd offers a warranty that stretches beyond legislation: you will receive no less than a 5 Years Warranty.
If a piece of outdoor living or part should defect due to a manufacturing defect or a defect due to regular domestic use, SUNS will repair the defect at its own discretion, refinish the product or replace the defective part. The SUNS warranty is subject to the parts only and not subject to the installation of the damaged part. In the case of self installation the customer will replace the part. SUNS can not be held liable for any installation fees incurred by not opting to use SUNS installation service.
When a replacement is required and the model or colour is no longer available (for example, from an older collection), SUNS Lifestyle Ltd reserves the right to replace the defective piece with a similar product. Each replacement applies, in principle, to the defective part or piece of furniture, not to the entire set. A repair, refinish or replacement does not affect the original warranty period.
In the event of a defect, it is the responsibility of the buyer to contact their sales@outdooriconic.com, accompanied with (a copy of) the purchase receipt. SUNS Lifestyle Ltd will complement the warranty request with event date, product code and description of the problem and submit it to the manufacturer. SUNS Lifestyle Ltd and the manufacturer will then handle completion of the warranty procedure.
The warranty period starts from the moment of purchase and only applies to regular domestic use. The original receipt serves as a warranty certificate. Warranty relates to construction and material defects that are already present on delivery. Damage caused by improper or incompetent use (such as abnormal loads), deterioration by aggressive substances, improper maintenance, repairs by non-SUNS Lifestyle Ltd representatives, covering of furniture, incorrect assembly, as well as influences due to the properties of natural material and damage due to the not following or not correctly following the user instructions (hangtag) are excluded from the warranty agreement.
Further excluded are:
Defects due to normal wear and / or extreme weather conditions
For plastic: scratches due to use
For aluminium: scratches due to use
For wood: influences due to the properties of natural materials, such as cracking, tearing and discolouring
For steel: rust formation from the inside due to, among others, condensation
For textiles: less than 3mm shrinkage per linear meter, incorrect washing and slight discoloration, wear due to usage and reduced carrying capacity and thickness of the filling over time
Protection
Teak has a natural, soft, golden brown colour. In order to retain this colour, teak should be treated with a ‘protector’ or ‘patinizer’. Often people choose to leave teak wood untreated. In that case, it will fade to silver grey in a natural way. The level of maintenance, therefore, depends on the desired colour. (Frequent) treatment, using a patinizer or protector is recommended to prevent teak from getting weathered. This coating will protect the furniture against weather.
Cleaning
(Grease) stains on teak wood furniture can usually be removed easily using detergent and plenty of tepid/warm water. In case of weathered surfaces or stains which are more difficult to remove, a ‘cleaner’ may be the solution.

Delivery
We offer FREE delivery to Mainland UK for all Suns Lifestyle products. For in-stock pergolas, delivery for self-assembly is typically within 2–3 weeks. If your order is for delivery only and all items are in stock, we aim to deliver within 7–14 working days. Delivery times may vary depending on location, product model, colour, and size, and can be longer during peak periods.
Self-Assembly
If you are a DIY enthusiast, Suns Lifestyle pergolas can be assembled at home once your foundations and flooring are in place. We recommend a minimum of two people, and assembly times vary by pergola size. Typically, we suggest allocating a full day for installation.
Professional Installation
For customers who prefer professional assembly, we offer installation by our trained in-house teams. This service includes delivery, assembly, bolting down the pergola, and installation of any screens or louvered panels.
Lead Times & Booking:
Typical installation lead times range from 4–6 weeks, nationwide.
After placing your order online, our team will contact you to schedule a convenient installation date within two weeks of the estimated lead time provided at the point of order.
Please follow the pre-installation guide; failure to do so may result in additional fees.
With five specialist installation teams across the UK, we aim to deliver and install orders as efficiently as possible. Average lead times for installation are 2–4 weeks, but during peak periods this may extend to 8–10 weeks. We recommend planning ahead to avoid delays.
