Transform your outdoor space into a versatile haven with the Rota Pergola. Whether you're basking in the sun, seeking shade, or taking refuge from the rain, this pergola provides the ultimate solution for a weatherproof garden experience.
Customise your Rota Pergola by adding optional side screens to create the perfect setting for sun-soaked relaxation, shaded comfort, or shelter from the rain.
The Rota Pergola's sleek and innovative design delivers the best of both worlds, granting you quick and simple control over the weather throughout the year. The louvered roof shutters, operated with a turn of the handle, create a fully weatherproof space, ensuring comfort in any weather condition. Rainwater effortlessly drains off through specially engineered channels inside the legs, flowing out and away, anchored securely to the ground, and following the natural fall of the existing surface.
Crafted with a robust aluminium powder-coated frame, this pergola guarantees longevity with its rust-free, weatherproof, and UV-protected properties. Enjoy your outdoor space for years to come with the Rota Pergola.
Standing 20cm taller than the Maranza Pergola, the Rota serves as a perfect overhang above bifold doors, providing an efficient and durable solution for terrace roof construction. This model is available in eight different sizes, offering a wide variety of options and the potential to combine multiple units to suit your space seamlessly.
Opt for the optional deluxe side screens to enhance your outdoor experience. These screens can be fixed to the pergola, creating an enclosed space that protects you from the sun, wind, and rain. Elevate your outdoor lifestyle with the Rota Pergola, a smart solution with a long lifespan, turning your garden into a haven of comfort and style.
Screen Options
The selected optional side screens for the Rota Pergola are the SUNS Lifestyle Deluxe Screens, exclusively compatible with this model. Please be aware that the screens are intentionally designed to be retracted when the Rota is not in use, ensuring their longevity.
Crafted from Textiline, these Deluxe Screens strike the perfect balance, allowing natural light to shine through while creating a shaded area. Fixed to the Pergola legs, they provide protection from the wind and rain, enhancing your outdoor experience.

If you desire a Pergola that offers the option for full enclosure with screens or a mix-and-match approach with screens and vented panels, the Maranza Pergola is an excellent choice. Explore more about the Maranza Pergola by clicking here.
High Quality Materials
Crafted with precision, the Pergola boasts a high-quality aluminium construction, coated with a striking Matt Royal Grey or Matt White finish that not only catches the eye but is also UV protected. This ensures that the colour remains vibrant over time, offering both aesthetic appeal and protection for you and your family against harmful UV rays.
Experience virtually maintenance-free ownership thanks to the weatherproof features and robust aluminium build, guaranteeing durability for many years of outdoor enjoyment.
Opting for the optional side screens introduces an unparalleled level of strength and beauty, as they are meticulously crafted from the highest quality Textilene. Composed of PVC coated woven polyester non-stretch yarn, Textilene stands out for its flame-retardant properties, heat sealability, mildew resistance, and stability under varying temperatures. This fabric is not only visually appealing but also a top-tier choice for durability, purposefully formulated to withstand the rigours of wear and tear, making it an exceptional option for extended outdoor use.

Instructions:
Explore the simplicity of assembling our Pergolas with comprehensive instructions included in every package. Designed for easy self-fitting with basic DIY knowledge, it is recommended to have two additional people and a set of tools for optimal efficiency.
The estimated build time varies for each model, ranging from 1 to 5 hours, ensuring a quick and straightforward installation process. To safeguard your investment, anchoring the Pergola to the ground is strongly advised. Ensure you have a substantial foundation before commencing the build, as any damage caused by inadequate anchoring is not covered by the warranty.
If the prospect of self-assembly doesn't appeal to you, simply check the box above to include professional installation with your order. For detailed information on installation and the pre-installation guide agreement, please refer to this link.
Maintaining an ideal natural fall of 10mm is recommended to facilitate proper water drainage and the correct fitting of the screens. Most patios likely meet this requirement based on building regulations. However, our installation team can use packers under specific legs to ensure the Pergola works seamlessly if the patio level differs. By opting for our installation service, you are consenting to our team using packers under the footplates in such instances.

Floor Plan for Each Size:
For guidance on fixing your pergola to the floor, view our Ground Fixings Sheet here.
Pre Install Guidance:
Before embarking on groundworks or scheduling a pergola installation, review our essential guidance below to facilitate discussions with your landscaper or builder.
The pergola necessitates fitting onto a stable surface, and beneath the finished surface, there must be a secure foundation, such as a concrete pad. This preparation should be completed prior to our installers' arrival, as groundworks are not included in their services. A local tradesperson can provide valuable assistance for this phase.
For your convenience, we offer a floor plan indicating the precise placement of the pergola's floor plates based on your chosen size and orientation. This floor plan is also accessible on the relevant product page on our website.
We recommend concrete pads of approximately 40x40x40cm beneath any tiles. If you have decking, we advise a similar approach or, alternatively, incorporating extra structural joists below the decking. Finish your surface completely with tiles or decking so that, upon our installers' arrival, they can seamlessly drill through the tile or deck and secure it into a robust foundation below.
Choosing your pergola size before commencing any groundworks is advisable. However, if you've already laid the patio or deck, we recommend verifying the stability beneath the surface. Ensure it is secure enough, as Type 1 or sand would not be suitable. Composite decking without a solid foundation below would lack the necessary security, unless there are existing structural beams underneath where the footplates will be situated. If this is the case, successful installation is feasible, provided all footplates rest on adequately wide structural beams for secure bolting.
Cleaning & Care:
SUNS Lifestyle pergolas are designed for minimal maintenance. To remove surface marks, simply wipe with a non-abrasive cloth and mild cleaner or use a jet wash on a low setting. Ensure drainage channels are kept clear of leaves and debris to allow water to flow off the roof properly.
